Shoulder Keloid – Case Study 2 – Numerous Shoulder Keloids:
This 30-year-old male presented with numerous raised keloids on both his shoulders in November 2014. He has previously been treated with steroid injections, to which the keloids did not respond. Two of his keloid lesions were removed surgically but both recurred after surgery. The following images depict the appearance of his both shoulders at presentation in 2014 and thereafter, while receiving treatment from Dr. Tirgan.

This patient was treated with a combination of cryotherapy and intralesional chemotherapy and R6 Cream. As of June 2020, he only had one active small area on his left shoulder that required injection, otherwise, he has been off of all treatments. During his last visit, all the keloid areas appeared and felt to be flat and the color in several areas has started to improve.
