Multiple Shoulder Keloids
This is a 30-year-old male who presented with numerous raised keloids on both his shoulders. He has previously been treated with steroid injections, to which the keloids did not respond. Two of his keloid lesions were removed surgically, but both recurred after surgery. He came to see Dr. Tirgan in Nov. 2014. The images below depict the appearance of his both shoulders at presentation and months and years later.

This patient was treated with a combination of cryotherapy and intralesional chemotherapy and R6 Cream. As of June 2020, he only had one active small area on his left shoulder that required injection, otherwise, he has been off of all treatments. During his last visit, all the keloid areas appeared and felt to be flat and the color in several areas has started to improve.
