Scalp Keloid – Case Study 1 – Infected Scalp Keloid

This 35-year-old male presented to our practice with an infected scalp keloid. The keloid had been present for 7-8 years and had been treated with topical steroids, steroid injections as well a surgical removal which led to the recurrence and worsening of the keloid.  The images below depict the scalp keloid when the patient presented to Dr. Tirgan as well as the treatment results that were achieved using cryotherapy.
