Ear Keloids – Case Study 14- Massive Ear Keloid:
Massive ear keloids develop only in patients who have had prior keloid surgery, often multiple surgeries, to remove an ear keloid. The patient shown here is 29 years old female who presented to Dr. Tirgan in March 2021. Her ear keloid began growing in 2015. She underwent surgery in October 2017. By early 2018, the keloid started to regrow. The photograph below depicts a massive ear keloid in this female. Such a large keloid clearly impacts many aspects of her life. The keloid was treated with cryotherapy. Serial images below depict the results that have been achieved thus far.

This keloid was treated with repeated cycles of cryotherapy. Significant improvement was achieved after each treatment. The image below shows the extent of improvement that was achived by January 2022.
