Ear Keloids – Case Study 1 – Treatment with Cryotherapy – Durable Results

This 25-year-old female developed a large keloid on her left ear. The keloid had first appeared six years earlier and gradually increased in size. She had rejected surgery, knowing that surgery might make her keloid worse. She sought medical care from Dr. Tirgan and requested to be treated with cryotherapy.

This case represents how effective cryotherapy is in treatment of ear keloids.  This patient had total of four cryo treatments, given once every six weeks.
