Shoulder Keloid – Case Study 1 – Solitary Shoulder Keloid:
This 37-year-old gentleman presented with a flat keloid on his left shoulder that had appeard about six months earlier. The keloid was surgically removed 3 months prior to his consultation with Dr. Tirgan. Surgery had clearly made the keloid worse. He had also been treated with several steroid injections with no benefit. He had also failed to respond to laser treatment. The image below depicts the keloid at the time of his first consultation with Dr. Tirgan.
Solitary Shoulder Keloid
This keloid was treated with intralesional chemotherapy. The following images show the response that was achieved within few weeks of treatment.
