Ear Keloids – Case Study 3 – Treatment with Cryotherapy:
The keloid depicted here was previously treated with surgery twice. Unfortunately, there was recurrence after ear surgery. This patient was seen in June 2011 and was treated with cryotherapy. The keloid was successfully and completely removed by March 2012. The results were excellent and above expectation. Below is the image of the patient's ear 9 months after the first treatment. At last follow up in 2019, there has not been any recurrence and earlobe remains free of keloid.
