Neck Keloids – Case Study 1 – Nodular Neck Keloid

This patient presented with a relatively small keloid in the back of his neck.

The keloid was treated with cryotherapy. This patient presented three years later for treatment of an unrelated matter. The image below shows that his neck has completely healed after cryotherapy, and that the skin has regained all its pigmentation. This case exemplifies the effectiveness of one cycle of cryotherapy in treatment of a nodular keloid.  This keloid was treated only once.
