Abdominal Keloids – Case Study 1 – Incisional Umbilical Keloid:
This patient presented in June 2020 to Dr. Tirgan for treatment of ear and umbilical (belly button) keloid. Patient had and incision in her belly button that has resulted in a keloid above her belly button. The image below depicts the keloid at the time of presentation to Dr. Tirgan.

The keloid was treated with cryotherapy. Near total debulking was achieved within six months, after three cycles of cryotherapy. The base keloid was treated with intralesional chemotherapy injections. The images below depict the keloid immediately after the application of first cryotherapy and the outcome of treatment one year after the initial treatment.
